Truth or lies—I barely care,
I speak what suits me, then and there.
When it’s me, I claim my due,
If short a bit, I’ll take a few
No sense of past or present time,
If I lose, I call it fine.
Full measure for myself I need,
But others' faults I quickly read.
Halal or haram—I no longer see,
Feeding the belly is priority.
My own tasks left undone,
On others’ shoulders, I pass each one.Truth or lies—I barely care,
I speak what suits me, then and there.
When it’s me, I claim my due,
If short a bit, I’ll take a few.
Like a stray tomcat, I roam,
Wandering far away from home.
This way, that way—always adrift,
My life's been nothing but a shift.
Telling the truth? That’s now taboo,
Even when my heart wants to.
The world now honors frauds and lies,
So with the fake, I compromise.
